COMPLIMENTARY SAMPLE · CHAPTER I OF VII
Seat of Worthiness
Give your presence a place before you have anything to prove.
You are experiencing the first chapter. This sample does not grant member access or save progress to an account.
Confidence begins with the way you regard yourself when no one is applauding. If your worth depends on being useful, impressive, or easy to love, every new situation can feel like an audition. The seat of worthiness asks you to let your dignity accompany you into the room.
You can recognize your strengths and your unfinished learning at the same time. You do not need to know everything to ask a question, offer an idea, or receive care. Your humanity gives you a place in the conversation.
Today, notice one condition you have attached to belonging. Ask how you would participate if your right to be here were already settled. Choose a small action that reflects that permission.
Worth and readiness answer different questions. Your dignity gives you a place in the room; preparation helps you participate in a particular task. If the task needs a skill, learn or seek support for that skill. Avoid making the gap prove that you are undeserving of attention, opportunity, or belonging.
Notice the invisible entrance requirement you place on yourself. Must you be thinner, more accomplished, perfectly articulate, or entirely certain before you can begin? Ask whether that requirement is relevant to the actual situation. A small act of participation can test the condition without asking you to pretend you have no uncertainty.
HOW THIS CAN LOOK
You hesitate to join a discussion because you cannot answer every possible question. You prepare one thoughtful contribution and ask about what you do not know. Your right to participate and your responsibility to learn both receive a place.
Go deeper at your own pace
These further questions are optional. Sit with them quietly or include what matters in your reflections below.
- What condition have I added to the entrance of this room?
- Which preparation is useful, and which demand is really a test of worth?
YOUR SACRED PRACTICE
Write: “I have been waiting to feel worthy until…” Then write: “Today, I can participate by…” Choose one action that does not require anyone else’s approval.
YOUR NEXT CHAPTER
Take a little time with what you noticed.
You can return to this sample whenever you wish. The full journey includes six further chapters and a home for your saved words in My Sanctuary. Paid enrollment is not open yet.
