COMPLIMENTARY SAMPLE · CHAPTER I OF VII
The Inheritance You Carry
Notice the gifts, stories, and values that have reached you.
You are experiencing the first chapter. This sample does not grant member access or save progress to an account.
Legacy begins with what you have received and what you choose to carry forward. Your inheritance may include skills, traditions, stories, faith, care, and lessons learned through experience.
Some inheritances nourish you; others may need reconsideration. You can honor the people who came before you while choosing how you want to live. Let gratitude and discernment have room together.
Name one gift you want to preserve. Look for its expression in an ordinary act of teaching, care, creativity, or service.
An inheritance may be a tradition, a skill, a perspective, or an expectation absorbed from family or community. Some parts may nourish you while others feel obligatory. Name what you actually know and experienced. You can draw from chosen mentors and communities when family knowledge is uncertain, absent, or difficult to engage.
A gift does not need to remain in its original form to stay meaningful. Resourcefulness may become thoughtful design rather than constant endurance. Hospitality may become a welcoming conversation rather than unpaid availability. Ask which value lives within the inheritance and how you choose to express it with your present capacity and voice.
HOW THIS CAN LOOK
You inherited a love of gathering people, along with the expectation that the host must do everything. You keep the welcome and create a shared contribution arrangement. The value continues while the form makes room for your own participation and care.
Go deeper at your own pace
These further questions are optional. Sit with them quietly or include what matters in your reflections below.
- Which inherited gift is joined to an expectation I no longer choose?
- What different form would keep the value without repeating its cost?
YOUR SACRED PRACTICE
Write three things you have inherited that you value. Beside each, name who or what helped it reach you. Choose one to carry forward intentionally.
YOUR NEXT CHAPTER
Take a little time with what you noticed.
You can return to this sample whenever you wish. The full journey includes six further chapters and a home for your saved words in My Sanctuary. Paid enrollment is not open yet.
