COMPLIMENTARY SAMPLE · CHAPTER I OF VII
Take Your Seat
Recognize the responsibility you are ready to hold.
You are experiencing the first chapter. This sample does not grant member access or save progress to an account.
Leadership begins when you choose to take responsibility for a part of your life or a shared endeavor. That may be a business, a household, a creative project, or a community. Name the place where your choices have an effect.
Your throne represents a seat of responsibility. Ask what is yours to decide, what belongs to someone else, and what requires a shared agreement. Clear authority helps people know where they can act and where they need a conversation.
You can lead while continuing to learn. Begin with an honest description of your role, the people affected, and one commitment you are willing to keep.
Taking a seat includes understanding the limits of the seat. Responsibility is clearer when you distinguish what you decide, what you recommend, what needs consent, and what belongs to another person. A symbolic crown should not obscure those agreements. Authority becomes more trustworthy when people can understand how it is used.
Notice whether you avoid a decision because you fear displeasing someone, or make a decision that was never yours because uncertainty is uncomfortable. Both deserve inquiry. Begin with the role you actually hold and the people affected. A clear conversation about responsibility may be a more meaningful leadership act than taking on another task.
HOW THIS CAN LOOK
You coordinate a community event but assume you must choose every detail. You clarify which decisions are yours and which belong to the group. The work gains direction while other participants keep a genuine place in shaping it.
Go deeper at your own pace
These further questions are optional. Sit with them quietly or include what matters in your reflections below.
- Where am I carrying authority I do not have or avoiding authority I do hold?
- Who needs clarity about how this decision will be made?
YOUR SACRED PRACTICE
Write: “In this season, I am responsible for…” “My decisions affect…” “I need to learn…” Choose a role you can name clearly.
YOUR NEXT CHAPTER
